I read that video celler is a professor of law in Australia? My professors are American and Canadian, so of course I would welcome an informed discussion with a law professor from another country.
The more I understand about Intellectual Property and the Copyrights that apply the better.

Well on that note, should you or I find ourselves in a court room facing charges of copyright infringement, a history teacher who's an IP (Intellectual Property?) hobbyist won't be of much use.

I agree with you. But given the lack of IP (intellectual property lawyers) posting, VideoCellar's contributions are more often than not very useful. In my opinion he also tends to err on the conservative side, which could help prevent people from landing in court.
